When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For major changes, we may also provide notice through the Site, by email, or through another reasonable method.
Your continued use of Sneaky Little Local after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Changes will not apply retroactively to a dispute that arose before the updated Terms were posted unless required by law or agreed to in writing.
8. Your Responsibilities
You agree to use Sneaky Little Local honestly, respectfully, and lawfully.
You may not use the Site to:

- Post fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, misleading ratings, or comments about experiences you did not genuinely have.
- Ask us to publish false business claims, false pricing, false credentials, fake discounts, misleading promotions, or deceptive advertising.
- Use the Site to promote scams, illegal activity, deceptive services, fraudulent offers, or unlawful products.

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove Content, deny service, suspend access, revoke a listing claim, or take other action when we believe it is necessary.
9. Unclaimed Listings
Sneaky Little Local may create, publish, update, or maintain unclaimed Listings using publicly available business information, information submitted by users, information supplied by third parties, or other information lawfully available to us.
An unclaimed Listing does not mean that the business requested, approved, paid for, sponsored, endorsed, or is affiliated with Sneaky Little Local.
Businesses may request corrections to factual information such as:
- Business name
- Address
- Phone number
- Hours
- Category
- Website
- Social-media links
- Business status
- Services offered
We may request verification before making a change.
A business may request correction of inaccurate information, but claiming ownership of a business does not automatically give that business the right to remove all factual information about itself from the directory.
We may remove, revise, or retain a Listing based on accuracy, public usefulness, legal concerns, platform standards, and our reasonable discretion.
10. Claiming a Business Listing
When you claim a Listing, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the business owner or an authorized representative of the business.
- You have authority to submit, edit, approve, and authorize the Content you provide.
- The information you provide is truthful, current, complete, and lawful.
- You will promptly update material changes to your business information.
- You will not misrepresent your business identity, services, pricing, credentials, licenses, availability, products, or qualifications.
We may verify listing ownership through reasonable methods, including:
- Phone verification
- Email verification
- Business-domain email confirmation
- Public records
- Licensing information
- Documentation
- Social-media confirmation
- In-person confirmation
- Other information reasonably showing authority over the business
If more than one person claims the same Listing, we may require additional proof before deciding who may manage the Listing.
We may approve, deny, suspend, revoke, or remove a listing claim if ownership is unclear, verification fails, submitted information is false, or a dispute arises.
11. Business Information and Advertising Claims
Business Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of every business claim, offer, price, discount, event, service description, credential, license claim, testimonial, advertisement, or promotion they ask Sneaky Little Local to publish.
You must have a reasonable basis for every factual claim you provide.
You may not ask Sneaky Little Local to publish Content that is false, misleading, unverified, deceptive, discriminatory, illegal, or likely to confuse the public.
You are responsible for confirming that your business has all licenses, permits, insurance, registrations, approvals, and legal authority required for the services you offer.
We may request proof of a claim, promotion, license, price, discount, event, authorization, or business ownership before publishing or continuing to publish Content.
We may refuse, revise, delay, label, pause, relocate, or remove Content that appears inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, inappropriate, unlawful, or inconsistent with our platform standards.
12. Content You Submit
You retain ownership of Content that you own and submit to Sneaky Little Local.
However, by submitting Content, you grant Sneaky Little Local a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, adapt, crop, resize, format, distribute, and promote that Content as reasonably needed to operate, display, market, and improve the Listing, campaign, Paid Service, or Sneaky Little Local platform.
This may include use on:
- Sneaky Little Local directory pages
- Search results
- Category pages
- Listing pages
- Sponsored placements
- Community guides
- Printed materials
- Mailers
- Promotional graphics
- Social-media posts created by Sneaky Little Local
- Email communications
- Website features
- Spotlight or promotional content
- Archived examples of completed work
- Other formats reasonably connected to the Listing or service
We may make reasonable editorial or formatting changes to submitted Content, including:
- Resizing photos
- Cropping images
- Correcting grammar
- Shortening descriptions
- Fixing obvious spelling errors
- Adjusting layouts
- Formatting Content for mobile or print
- Adding required advertising labels
- Creating designs consistent with the agreed service
You confirm that you own the Content you submit or have all rights, licenses, releases, and permissions necessary for Sneaky Little Local to use it as described in these Terms.
You are responsible for obtaining permission from photographers, designers, employees, customers, models, trademark owners, licensors, partners, and any other person whose rights may be involved in submitted Content.
You may not submit Content that you copied from another website, social-media page, business, photographer, designer, or creator unless you have permission to use it.
13. Duration of Content Permission
For ordinary business Listing Content, the permission you give Sneaky Little Local continues while the Listing remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to allow us to maintain archives, preserve published materials, handle legal obligations, display historical examples of completed work, and remove Content from systems or materials already in production.
For Paid Services, we may continue using approved Content for the agreed campaign, placement, print run, or service period even if you later request removal.
If a Listing is removed, cancelled, or no longer active, Sneaky Little Local will generally stop creating new promotional uses of your submitted business Content, unless:
- You give us continued permission.
- The Content already appears in printed materials, mailers, archived posts, historical content, or completed campaigns.
- We need to retain the Content for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, backup, or recordkeeping purposes.
- The Content is part of a factual directory record we are legally allowed to retain.
14. Reviews, Tips, Comments, and Community Content
If Sneaky Little Local allows users to submit reviews, tips, comments, photos, ratings, or similar community Content, users are responsible for what they submit.
You may share honest opinions and genuine experiences.
You may not submit:
- Fake reviews
- AI-generated reviews presented as real customer experiences
- Reviews for a business you did not genuinely interact with
- Paid or incentivized reviews that are not properly disclosed
- Reviews written by business owners, employees, family members, or insiders without clear disclosure
- Retaliatory, harassing, threatening, or knowingly false reviews
- Reviews created to unfairly damage a competitor
- Fabricated testimonials
- Misleading star ratings
- Content that violates another person’s rights
Businesses may ask customers for honest feedback, but they may not require positive reviews, pay for positive reviews, pressure customers to remove honest negative reviews, or create reviews on behalf of customers.
Sneaky Little Local may, but is not required to, review, edit, hide, remove, decline, or investigate community Content.
We do not guarantee that reviews, ratings, comments, tips, or user-submitted Content are accurate, complete, current, fair, or representative.
15. Sneaky Little Local Intellectual Property
Sneaky Little Local and its licensors own the Site, brand, directory design, layout, original writing, graphics, promotional materials, logo, code, databases, templates, business guides, and other original Site Content, except for Content owned by businesses or other third parties.
You may use the Site for personal, lawful, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute, scrape, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Sneaky Little Local Content without written permission.
Nothing in these Terms gives you ownership of Sneaky Little Local’s name, logo, design, content, directory data, or other intellectual property.
16. Paid Services
Sneaky Little Local may offer Paid Services to eligible businesses.
The exact features, placement, duration, price, campaign details, deadlines, payment schedule, and included benefits for a Paid Service will be described at the time of purchase, on an invoice, in a proposal, through a package description, or in another written agreement.
Unless a written agreement specifically says otherwise:
- Paid Services do not guarantee a permanent position on a page.
- Paid Services do not guarantee exclusive category placement.
- Paid Services do not guarantee exclusivity over competitors.
- Paid Services do not guarantee website traffic, calls, leads, bookings, sales, revenue, reviews, engagement, growth, or other business results.
- Sneaky Little Local may change Site design, categories, layout, navigation, page structure, display methods, listing order, or promotional formats as the platform develops.
- Competing businesses may appear in the same category, page, guide, campaign, mailer, or promotional area.
- Paid Content may be labeled “Sponsored,” “Featured,” “Ad,” “Partner,” or similar language.
- A paid Listing or promotion does not mean Sneaky Little Local endorses or guarantees the business.
Sneaky Little Local will provide the specific Paid Services described in the applicable package, invoice, proposal, or written agreement.
We do not promise features that are not specifically included in the purchased package or agreement.
17. Payments, Billing, Renewals, and Cancellations
You agree to pay all fees associated with Paid Services you purchase.
Prices, payment schedules, billing cycles, renewal terms, package duration, and deadlines will be shown at checkout, on an invoice, in a proposal, or in another written agreement.
If a Paid Service is recurring, you authorize Sneaky Little Local or its payment processor to charge your selected payment method according to the agreed billing schedule until the service is cancelled or ends.
You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
Unless a written agreement says otherwise:
- Cancellation stops future renewal charges after the end of the current paid service period.
- Cancellation does not reverse charges already paid or owed for the current service period.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to info@sneakylittlelocal.com or through another cancellation method provided with your service.
- We may pause, suspend, or remove Paid Services for failed payments, expired payment methods, unpaid invoices, chargebacks, or suspected fraud.
- You should contact us first to try to resolve a billing issue before filing a chargeback, unless you reasonably believe fraud occurred.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, where a written agreement says otherwise, or where Sneaky Little Local cancels an unused service for reasons unrelated to your breach.
If Sneaky Little Local removes a Listing or ends Paid Services because you violated these Terms, submitted misleading Content, failed to pay, committed fraud, or otherwise caused a material problem, you are not entitled to a refund.
If we end a prepaid Paid Service for reasons unrelated to your conduct or breach, our responsibility will generally be limited to a reasonable credit, replacement service, or prorated refund for the unused portion of that specific Paid Service, unless otherwise required by law.
18. Deadlines, Approvals, and Business Cooperation
Some Paid Services require businesses to provide photos, logos, contact information, prices, offers, approval, payment, print-ready materials, or other information by a deadline.
You are responsible for meeting those deadlines.
If you delay, fail to respond, fail to approve materials, provide incomplete information, or provide unusable assets, Sneaky Little Local may:
- Delay the service or campaign.
- Use the most recent approved information we have.
- Use reasonable placeholder Content.
- Move your placement to a later campaign, subject to availability.
- Decline to publish incomplete or unverified Content.
- Treat the missed deadline as a forfeited opportunity where production, printing, mailer, or promotional deadlines cannot reasonably be moved.
Sneaky Little Local is not responsible for missed promotions, delayed launches, missed print deadlines, reduced campaign opportunities, or lost placement caused by your late response, lack of approval, inaccurate materials, or failure to provide required information.
19. Print and Mailer Services
If you purchase placement in a printed guide, mailer, publication, or similar physical material, you understand that production and distribution may depend on printer deadlines, printing schedules, material approvals, postal operations, weather, route changes, third-party production issues, and other factors outside our direct control.
We may adjust layout, sizing, placement, color, formatting, or design details as reasonably necessary for production.
We do not guarantee:
- An exact delivery date.
- Delivery to every household.
- Exact household counts.
- Exact carrier-route coverage.
- Postal delivery timing.
- Printer timing.
- Reader response.
- Calls, leads, sales, or other business results.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide the purchased placement as described, but we are not responsible for delays or distribution issues caused by printers, postal carriers, weather, equipment failures, supply issues, route changes, or other events outside our reasonable control.
20. AI-Assisted and Creative Content
Sneaky Little Local may use automated, editing, design, or AI-assisted tools to help create, adapt, format, improve, summarize, resize, organize, or prepare Content.
Business Users remain responsible for reviewing final business-specific details before publication, including:
- Business name
- Address
- Phone number
- Website
- Hours
- Prices
- Deals
- Dates
- Offers
- Services
- Licenses
- Promotions
- Claims
- Other factual details
You are responsible for notifying us if any submitted material may not be used, modified, adapted, or included in a campaign.
You confirm that you have permission to provide any photos, logos, videos, customer images, employee images, or other reference material used in connection with creative work.
21. Advertising Disclosure and No Endorsement
Some businesses may pay for enhanced visibility, featured placement, sponsored Content, advertisements, or other Paid Services.
Paid placements may be labeled as “Sponsored,” “Featured,” “Ad,” “Partner,” or similar language.
A paid Listing, feature, promotion, or advertisement does not mean:
- Sneaky Little Local endorses the business.
- Sneaky Little Local guarantees the business.
- The business is better than non-featured businesses.
- The business has been licensed, inspected, certified, or approved by Sneaky Little Local.
- We have verified every business claim, price, service, license, or qualification.
Users should do their own research before hiring, visiting, purchasing from, or relying on any listed business.
22. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may include links to business websites, social-media pages, maps, booking tools, payment processors, event pages, menus, online stores, or other third-party services.
We do not control those third-party websites or services.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms, privacy policies, fees, availability, and practices.
Sneaky Little Local is not responsible for third-party Content, transactions, products, services, pricing, bookings, communications, data practices, reviews, customer experiences, or website availability.
23. Copyright, Trademark, and Other Complaints

24. Content Removal and Termination
Sneaky Little Local may remove, edit, pause, refuse, limit, suspend, or terminate any Listing, Content, account, access, claim, or Paid Service when we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users, the public, the Site, our business, our reputation, or legal compliance.

25. Availability and Changes to the Site
